Description
Vivir is an independent British owned tequila brand making 100% Blue Weber expressions in Mexico since 2019. This anejo is its aged tier, rested eighteen months in American oak so the barrel becomes a co lead with the agave rather than burying it. The agave is harvested only after about nine years, which concentrates sugar and gives the spirit a riper base to build on.
Production stays traditional, with the agave cooked in hornos and only natural volcanic spring water used through the process. The oak pushes vanilla adjacent sweetness alongside burnt banana and chocolate, while a toasted, smoky oak note frames a long finish. Bottled at 40%, it keeps an agave undertone beneath the wood and drinks well neat or over ice, with enough barrel weight to carry an aged tequila cocktail.
