Flecha Azul Tequila Extra Añejo Limited Edition

Flecha Azul is produced at NOM 1110, Tequila Orendain de Jalisco, a family run distillery operating since 1926. This limited extra añejo is made from fully mature agave azul, the single species tequila permits, grown in the lowlands of Jalisco where the soil tends toward earthier, more structured spirit. The producer states it carries no additives: no glycerin, no sugar syrup, no oak extract and no caramel colour.

The spirit is aged 36 months in American ex-bourbon oak, which builds a deep golden colour and a profile of agave with citrus and fruit, chocolate praline, roasted pineapple and vanilla. The palate is clean, with gently extracted wood tannins and a bright, refreshing finish. Bottled at 40%.
