El Luchador Tequila Blanco

El Luchador Tequila Blanco is the high proof creation of tequilero David Ravandi, founder of 123 Organic and co founder of Casa Noble, named for Mexico's masked wrestlers and filled into numbered recycled glass bottles. This is the 110 proof expression, a 100% Blue Weber blanco bottled at 55% from estate grown agave raised at 1300 metres in the upper reaches of the Tierras Bajas.

The agave is left to reach the twelve year ceiling of Blue Weber before the jima, concentrating sugar and flavour. At full strength the nose is lively with agave, lemon pepper and fresh sea salt, the citrus lift being a lowland signature. The palate is rich and powerful yet silky and sweet, carrying nougat, coconut and a building cinnamon warmth, while the finish returns to agave with white pepper, lemongrass and a calming touch of mint.
