Curado Tequila Blanco Blue Agave Infused

Curado, the joint venture of the Estes, Camarena and Vantguard families, builds each release on a 100% agave tequila blanco infused with cooked agave. This is the blue agave version, a doubled agave distillate where the base spirit itself is reinforced with cooked Blue Weber, giving a pronounced tequila agave character with little smoke.
The base is a high proof 100% agave blanco from the Los Altos highlands around Arandas in Jalisco, infused after double distillation with cooked agave pieces. The aroma is strongly floral with herbal, spicy notes and a framing wisp of smoke, while the palate sets sweet blossom, smoke, citrus freshness and caramel over an earthy base. The finish is medium length, fruity and spiced. Curado began with blue agave from Jalisco before extending to Espadín from Oaxaca and Cupreata from Michoacán. Bottled at 40%.
