Arduenna Organic Gin

The Arduenna Spirit Company take their name from the old word for the Ardennes, and they build this certified-organic gin around that forest. Classic juniper meets botanicals drawn from the region's flora: mirabelle plums for an elegant fruitiness, elderflower for floral sweetness, and notes of fir and spruce that carry the scent of coniferous woodland. Sustainably produced and carefully composed, it lands as a round, silky and genuinely complex craft gin.

The nose is elegant and rounded, white-fleshed fruit and mirabelle plum over elderflower and fresh coniferous wood. The palate follows with fruity mirabelle, fresh pine, juniper and floral elderflower edged by a fine spice, the finish long, soft and lightly sweet. A classic Indian tonic draws out the fruit and flowers beautifully, garnished with a sprig of fresh herbs, though it shines just as brightly in a Tom Collins.
