Larios Gin Mediterránea London Dry Gin

Larios has been a fixture of the Spanish bar for decades, a Mediterranean London Dry now made by Beam Suntory and sold here in a generous litre. Distilled the traditional way with only natural botanicals, it builds on juniper, citrus, coriander and angelica root, then leans into its sunny home with the sweet and bitter oranges of Spain that give it that characteristic fruity warmth.

The nose is fresh citrus with dominant juniper and a hint of coriander. The palate is light and harmonious, juniper joined by orange, lemon and a touch of spicy herb, before a dry, soft finish carrying a delicate floral sweetness. Serve it as a classic G&T with a good tonic and orange zest to draw out the Mediterranean fruit.
