Five botanicals, nothing wasted: juniper and coriander up front, cardamom warmth, angelica backbone and a clean lick of orange peel. A Belgian London Dry built by gin obsessive Yvan Vindevogel on alchemist’s principles, mild and fresh where it counts. Pared back and quietly precise.

Description
Copperhead was founded in Belgium by Yvan Vindevogel, a gin lover who borrowed the language of alchemy for his pursuit of one perfect recipe. The Original London Dry is an exercise in restraint, leaning on just five carefully chosen botanicals: juniper, coriander, cardamom, angelica and orange peel. There is nowhere to hide in a bill that short, and traditional distillation turns it into a spirit of real purity rather than bare simplicity.
The nose is gentle, mild juniper over soft citrus and a faint herbal spice. The palate follows in kind, balanced and clean, fine juniper meeting fresh orange peel and a light herbal lift, before a long, subtly spiced finish with a fruity freshness to it. Reach for Indian tonic and a twist of orange zest for the classic serve, though it holds its own in a Negroni just as well.
