Bottega Bacûr Distilled Dry Gin

Bottega BACÛR is the Veneto house Bottega's take on dry gin, built on pure Alpine water and botanicals sourced entirely from Italy. Tuscan juniper, sage leaves from the Triveneto and lemon zest from Sicily are each macerated separately in water and alcohol over a long stretch, then brought together for a careful double distillation that strips away anything unwanted and leaves a notably clear, elegant spirit.

The nose is intense juniper edged with lemon zest and a fine herbal note of sage. The palate is soft and balanced, a clear juniper structure carrying citric freshness and a mild warmth, before a clean, delicately perfumed finish that lingers. Serve it in a classic gin and tonic with a neutral tonic and either a curl of lemon zest or a single sage leaf to draw out its herbal side.
