Adamus is a certified-organic premium gin from Destilaria Levira in Portugal, built around 18 organically grown botanicals and bottled at 44.4%. Its defining touch is the Bairrada grape, a variety native to the Portuguese wine region of the same name, which lends a fine floral note you rarely meet in gin. Alongside it sit sage, cinnamon, hibiscus, juniper and citrus, all distilled in a small-batch process with each batch checked for depth and balance, a clear expression of sustainability and Portuguese identity.

The nose is fresh, floral and gently spiced, juniper and citrus lifted by that whisper of grape. The palate is complex and elegant, dry but rounded, with juniper, fresh herbs, delicate grape sweetness and floral lift, closing long and lightly spiced. Pour into a gin and tonic with neutral tonic and a few grapes or a twist of citrus zest, or stir into a Negroni.
