Rounder and fruitier than the usual Tanqueray: gentle juniper, warm spice and a sweet exotic citrus lift, with soft florals behind. A revived 19th-century style inspired by the old South East Asian spice routes. Mild, aromatic and versatile, a softer face of a familiar name.

Description
Tanqueray Malacca is the house's softer, more aromatic departure from its famously dry London style. The recipe nods to 19th-century gins shaped by trade through South East Asia, and that heritage shows in the warm, slightly sweet and spicy character. Juniper, citrus and a finely balanced set of spices blend rather than compete, giving a gin that is rounder and more fruit-forward than the standard bottlings. First made in limited runs, it became a collector's piece; this litre format is a generous pour for bar and home alike.
The nose is gentle juniper layered with warm spice, exotic citrus, a light sweetness and fine herbal notes. The palate is soft and round, juniper joined by spice, sweet citrus, florals and a harmonious warmth. It finishes long and mild, with spice and fruit accents. Build it into a G&T with a fruity tonic and a grapefruit twist, or let it carry a Tom Collins.
