Yoichi 15 Years Old (LMDW)

Yoichi 15 Years Old (LMDW) is a single malt from Nikka's Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido, selected and bottled by La Maison du Whisky for the event market. The bottling draws on a combination of bourbon barrels, new oak casks and sherry barrels, the same multi-cask approach seen in the LMDW Yoichi 10, and one that introduces complexity beyond the standard Ex-Bourbon maturation at a greater age.

Fifteen years across this mix of casks gives the citrus freshness noted in the flavour profile time to integrate with the dried fruit from the sherry, the toasted wood from the new oak and the vanilla from the bourbon barrels. The Yoichi house character of coal-fired peat smoke and coastal weight remains the anchor throughout, bottled at 45% for the La Maison du Whisky event channel.
