Eigashima Shuzo White Oak NAS is a blended whisky from the Hyogo distillery that holds Japan's oldest whisky licence. Carrying no age statement and bottled at 40% for European export in a 500ml format, it draws on Ex-Bourbon maturation for its structure. As with other Eigashima blends, some component spirit may be sourced.
The profile features citric brightness and fresh fruit alongside new wood and a sandy, lightly solvent edge that can appear in lighter, spirit-forward blends. At 40% it is the accessible, introductory end of the White Oak range, straightforward and clean in a style designed to represent the Eigashima name at a broad consumer level in export markets.
