This 2013 release is one of the early global bottlings of the brand, predating its wider European distribution, and carries no age statement. The liquid is a blend of domestic and sourced stock, matured in Ex-Bourbon casks in the producer's decommissioned railway tunnel.

The tunnel's underground conditions provide a steady, cool environment across the seasons, and in the Ex-Bourbon wood the blend typically develops vanilla sweetness, light cereal and a gentle trace of toasted oak. Bottled at 40%, the 2013 expression is light-bodied and approachable, reflecting Togouchi's positioning as an accessible entry into the range rather than an aged or specialist expression.
