Cask number 7075 is a 2016 vintage release in Chichibu's 7EVEN Gods of Fortune series, drawn from an Ex-Bourbon barrel and bottled in 2022 at 64.5% for an event. The Gods of Fortune series is among the distillery's most collectible event-only lines, and each numbered cask within it represents an individual barrel selected by the Chichibu team. The distillery was founded in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto in Saitama prefecture under the Venture Whisky banner.
At six years old in an Ex-Bourbon barrel, the spirit shows the clean and energetic character typical of young Chichibu in American oak: vanilla, coconut, cereal sweetness and the distillery's signature orchard fruit brightness.
