Papa Rouyo Cuve Matre Cannier number 2 is a Guadeloupe agricole blanc from Papa Rouyo, a younger estate distillery that has quickly built a strong reputation among cane-juice enthusiasts, distilled from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. Under Guadeloupe's IGP, it is a high-proof white rum made to showcase the cane and the cuvee's specific cane selection.

Unaged and bottled at brute de fut strength, it delivers a lot of flavour for a white rum: fresh citrus, ripe fruit and a caramel edge on the nose, then an oily, fresh palate with a distinctive anise note, closing fresh, oily and spicy with citrus. The cane sweetness is the spirit's own, not added. At a fierce 68.9% the proof concentrates everything, so it rewards careful dilution and shines in a Ti Punch where its citrus and anise can stretch out over ice and lime.
