Neisson Numero 253 2018 is a single cask 6 Year Old Martinique rhum agricole from Neisson, the small family distillery long favoured by agricole drinkers. Drawn from one cask of the 2018 vintage, it reaches the XO threshold of the AOC, and tropical ageing adds depth beyond its years.
Distilled from fresh sugar cane juice on a creole column and matured in ex-bourbon oak, then bottled at a cask strength 59.4% with no added sugar, a full-proof Neisson of this kind should drive the grassy agricole core into rich oak, baking spice and a long, dry finish, the high strength carrying real power.
