Description
Neisson Tatanka Eleve sous bois 2024 is a Martinique rhum agricole from Neisson, the small family distillery held in high regard by agricole drinkers. This Tatanka release is eleve sous bois, rested in oak for the ambree tier that sits between blanc and vieux under the AOC.
Distilled from fresh sugar cane juice on a creole column and bottled unsweetened at 50%, an oak-rested Neisson of this kind should keep its grassy, peppery agricole snap while gaining a light golden softness, vanilla and gentle spice from the wood. Drier than sweet molasses rum and carried by a firm 50%, it works neat or in a richer Ti' Punch.
