Description
TimberCoast's Mission's Best is a Marie-Galante agricole with an unusual story, transported and partly matured aboard the Avontuur, a traditional sailing cargo ship, across voyages three and four. Marie-Galante is part of the Guadeloupe family and known for its characterful cane juice rums.
Made from fresh pressed sugar cane juice on a column still, this is unsweetened agricole at heart. Marie-Galante rums tend toward the bold and grassy, and the sea ageing adds its own twist to the maturation. Expect the herbaceous, peppery snap of cane juice rum, dry and lively. Bottled at 42%.
