Bielle Brut de Fut bottled for Rum Stylez is a single cask cane-juice rum from the Bielle distillery on Marie-Galante, drawn from a 2012 vintage and bottled at natural cask strength of 55.1%. Bielle is known for cane-variety experiments and high-proof island bottlings, and this single barrel keeps the strength intact.

Made from fresh-pressed cane juice and matured in ex-bourbon oak, it pairs fresh cane, flowers and candied fruit with spicy oak, bringing citrus, caramel, eucalyptus and a peppery, nutty finish of walnut and almond. There is a light licorice note typical of the house, here more restrained than usual, and the cask strength gives it a lively, fruit-fresh intensity edged with spice. Certified unsweetened, it is best enjoyed neat with time in the glass or a splash of water to round the peppery heat.
