TBRC O Reizinho is a pure cane juice rum from the small O Reizinho distillery on Madeira, one of the few places outside the French islands legally allowed the agricole name. Bottled by That Boutique-y Rum Company, an honest additive free house curated by Peter Holland, it is an unsweetened single cask filled at 57% after roughly nine months in Madeira wood.

The profile is firmly on the saline, vegetal side of cane juice rather than the soft tropical one. Brine, pickle and green olive lead, backed by fresh herbaceous cane, a little orchard apple and a grip of tannin, before the finish turns toward sugarcane sap, vanilla and a touch of honeyed sweetness. It is a distinctive, briny white for drinkers who enjoy the savoury, olive driven end of agricole, best neat or in a Ti Punch.
