Providence is a Haitian rum from the Distillerie de Port au Prince, bottled by Velier and made in the clairin tradition, distilled from fresh sugarcane juice on a pot still with the wild, terroir driven character that defines Haiti's cane juice spirit. This 2019 vintage carries a three year age and is bottled unsweetened at 52%.

Maturation in ex-bourbon oak with a Caroni cask component gives it an unusual twist, fresh sugarcane, vanilla and a wash of florals meeting herbal, vegetal and lightly medicinal notes with a cooling menthol edge that hints at the Trinidadian cask.
