Daily Dram Foursquare Rum 2006

This Daily Dram release takes Foursquare distillate, the strict no additives pot and column blend from Richard Seale's St Philip distillery, and presents it as a single cask at its natural 55.9%. Distilled in 2006 and aged fifteen years, it trades the gentleness of standard bottlings for full strength intensity.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak, the nose leans into caramelised tropical fruit, coconut, honey and a toasted sweetness. The palate shifts warmer and spicier, with tobacco and vanilla, before a dry finish carrying spice and a sherried, sugary edge. Unsweetened and at full strength, it shows the Barbadian profile with more grip and concentration than the standard range, rewarding a few drops of water to open the fruit. A focused, individual take on a familiar house style.
