Ferroni Beenleigh Torna Viagem pairs the French house Ferroni with Australia's historic Beenleigh distillery, a collaboration release of pot still molasses rum aged five years across three stages, from bourbon casks into Ferroni's Provence finishing tradition. At 54.2% cask strength and unsweetened, it is built to show the spirit at full voice.

The double retort style pot still gives a heavy, aromatic base, here turned deeply chocolatey, with cocoa, dark chocolate and dark fruit dominating the palate over a woody frame, and the finish carrying wood, fruit and vanilla. The cask strength delivery and absence of added sugar keep it intense and honest, the layered maturation adding richness without softening it into a liqueur. It is a serious, dark profiled pour, best met neat with a drop of water for those who like their pot still rum bold and dry.
