The Colours of Rum is the young Polish bottler that has quickly earned a reputation for top-tier purist single casks with no additives. This Foursquare from the 1998 vintage is a single cask of the celebrated Barbados distillery, aged 22 years and bottled at full cask strength of 59.9%.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak, it delivers the classic Foursquare signature pushed to a deeper, drier register, with coconut, caramel and nutty barrel notes giving way to vanilla, ripe fruit, coffee and roasted oak. The alcohol is well integrated for the strength, the profile concentrated and layered without losing the rounded Bajan core. It drinks less sweet than many Foursquare bottlings while gaining intensity and length. For experienced palates this is near-benchmark Barbados rum, an unsweetened, full-proof single cask that rewards attention with depth and the distillery's most beautiful coconut character.
