CDI 2007 is a single cask Jamaican pot still rum distilled in 2007 and bottled at 9 years old by Compagnie des Indes for Denmark. The French bottler is respected for its terroir-led, broad-origin range of natural single casks, so this is an honest, unadorned expression of Jamaican pot still character, ripe banana, pineapple and the island's signature ester funk.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak and bottled at cask strength, 53.5%, this is an unsweetened, full-proof single cask. The bourbon barrel lends vanilla and dried fruit, while the high strength keeps the pot still esters loud and the texture oily, a characterful younger Jamaican in the natural CDI idiom.
