Pusser's built its name on Navy-style Guyana rum, and this fifteen-year bottling from a 2003 vintage carries the dark, woody Demerara character that tradition rests on. The molasses spirit shows a clear Port Mourant influence in its licorice and timber, without the brand stating a single still.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak and bottled at an easy 40%, it stays soft and approachable, with woody notes, light smoke, mocha, menthol, toffee and dark fruit. It reads drier and less sugary than some darker Demerara blends in the same mould, which suits its role as an everyday pour.
