From Van Wees, the Dutch house behind The Ultimate range, this Cask Strength 15 Year Old is a 2002 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 800636, an outturn of 219 bottles.

Fifteen years in ex-Bourbon framed the rich spirit, the cask's lignin breaking down to vanillin for a clear vanilla note.

At 57.4% it shows citrus, fresh fruit, honey, a leafy lift, new wood and vanilla over Longmorn's body, undiluted. An Ultimate 15.
