A 6 year old Dalmunach from the bottler IN2Spirit (IN2S), distilled in 2015, from cask 4205, bottled at 55.2%, one of 146 bottles. Dalmunach is a clean, fruity Speyside single malt of the new generation. It is one of the largest and most efficient malt distilleries in Scotland, with a heat recovery system.

It was distilled in copper stills on Balintomb Burn water, building the clean Dalmunach style. Ex-Sherry wood added a dried fruit richness to the clean spirit. Bottled young and extractive, the oak gives quick vanillin (vanilla) and oak lactones (coconut) over a lively, fruity malt. The light, fruity spirit takes cask flavour readily while keeping its fresh, clean core. Even young, the spirit shows a clean, fruity Speyside charm. Water comes from the Balintomb Burn, near the River Spey at Carron. Dalmunach's modern, efficient stillhouse gives a consistent, fruity spirit.

At 55.2%, undiluted, it is deep and fruity. A bright, fruity sweetness, with raisin, date and treacle from the cask. Beneath it run apple, pear and a soft honey. The finish runs clean, fruity and bright. This is Dalmunach's clean, modern Speyside style.
