Bottled by Whiskykeller, this Tullibardine matured to 7 year old from 2015 and bottled at 54%. Only 376 bottles were released. Tullibardine was first built in 1949 at the foot of the Ochil Hills, and it is known for its wine cask finishes. Its malt also goes into the Highland Queen blend, another Picard brand.

Distilled in copper stills on Ochil Hills spring water, giving the light, fruity spirit at its heart. A Burgundy or red wine cask lent red fruit and a soft spice. Still young, the malt is honeyed and fruity with a soft spice. Years in oak round the spirit, the honey and soft fruit deepening with age. The Murray and Custodian's Collections gather its older and rarer bottlings. Blackford's spring water has drawn brewers and distillers to the village for centuries. Tullibardine was founded in 1949 by the architect William Delme-Evans, the first new distillery in post war Scotland.

At a natural 54% it is full and honeyed. The wine cask lends red fruit, chocolate and a soft spice, and the refill oak lending honey and vanilla runs under apple, honey and a gentle spice. It is fruity and soft, the fruit and oak well matched. A long, honeyed finish carries a fruity lift. This is a honeyed Highland single malt from Perthshire.
