An official Talisker single malt and bottled at 45.8%. Talisker was established in 1830 at Carbost on Skye's wild west coast; its peppery maritime malt is loved the world over. The tall wash stills carry U shaped lyne arms with purifier pipes, and the spirit runs into worm tubs.

Distilled in tall stills with U shaped lyne arms and condensed in worm tubs, from peated Glen Ord malt, building the smoky, briny Skye character. It was matured in refill ex-Bourbon oak, a vanilla beneath the smoke. No age is given, but the peppery smoke marks it as classic Talisker. A patient maturation suits the bold, maritime Talisker character. The signature is a black pepper kick, the so called chilli catch, over maritime smoke. Founded by the MacAskill brothers in 1830, it is Skye's oldest distillery. The worm tubs build the full, oily body that carries the smoke and pepper. For most of its life Talisker stood alone on Skye, until Torabhaig opened in 2017.

Bottled at 45.8%, it is rounded. A maritime smoke with a peppery bite sit over a vanilla from the refill oak beneath. A maritime salt and a chilli warmth give it real punch. Pepper and sea salt see out a long finish. This is the maritime malt made by the sea on Skye.
