From the Vintage Malt Whisky Company's Cooper's Choice, this Inchfad is Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a 15 year old from 2009 drawn from cask 1012.
Fifteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the bold peat, the gentle American oak adding vanilla under the smoke.
At 52% the wood smoke runs over a sweet barley core, guaiacol and phenols carrying the reek. A peated Inchfad.
