Description
Sansibar, a German independent named for the Sylt island bar, bottles this Inchmurrin in its White Label series. Loch Lomond's floral island malt from the straight-neck stills, a mature 25 year old from 1998 in Pedro Ximenez.
Twenty-five years in PX load the mature fruit with raisiny sweetness, the cask's melanoidins giving date and the angel's share having eased the cask.
At 51.1% it shows dried fruit, old wood, a sherried character, chocolate, citrus and hay, the PX deep over the Inchmurrin fruit. A PX mature Inchmurrin.
