From Murray McDavid's Cask Craft range, this Croftengea is a heavily peated malt from Loch Lomond given a double finish in Port and Madeira.
A finish across Port and Madeira lends plum and candied fruit over the peat, the two wine casks layering fruit against the smoke.
At 44.5% it shows wood smoke with citrus, fresh and cooked fruit, a sherried note and dried fruit, the peat phenols carrying the reek. A double-finished peated Croftengea.
