Chorlton Whisky, a Manchester independent, bottles this Inchmurrin, Loch Lomond's floral island malt from the straight-neck stills, a mature 24 year old from 1997.
Twenty-four years in ex-Bourbon mellow the floral spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla, decades of angel's share thinning the cask over the decades.
At 47.7% it shows citrus, vanilla and a leafy lift over the mature Inchmurrin fruit. A mature Inchmurrin.
