Description
From C. Dully Selection of Switzerland, this Inchfad is Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a 17 year old from 2005 drawn from a vatting of casks 408, 411 and 412.
Seventeen years in ex-Bourbon soften the bold peat, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla and old-wood depth.
At 55.5% it shows fresh fruit, leather and a dry sandy edge over the wood smoke, the peat phenols carrying the reek. A mature peated Inchfad.
