This is #7 in The Nine, Loch Lomond's Innovative Cask Series, a heavily peated 8 year old from 2017 in ex-Bourbon, an outturn of 197 bottles at cask strength.
Eight years in ex-Bourbon at full strength keep the spirit's grip, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla beneath a heavy peat.
At 58.6% it shows dense wood smoke over the Highland spirit, guaiacol and phenols carrying the heavy reek, undiluted. A heavily peated Nine 8.
