This Exclusive Cask, a 10 year old from a 2011 vintage, matures Loch Lomond in a red wine cask, an outturn of 311 bottles at cask strength.
Ten years with a red-wine influence lend berry fruit and a drying tannin over the balanced spirit.
At 57.4% it shows cooked fruit, an oily texture, dried fruit, a nutty note and old wood with the wine berry, undiluted. A red-wine Exclusive Cask 10.
