This Single Cask Limited Edition, an 11 year old from a 2007 vintage, matures Loch Lomond in Barolo, the Italian red, an outturn of 319 bottles at cask strength.
Eleven years with a Barolo influence lend berry fruit and a fine, drying tannin, the wine cask set against the balanced spirit.
At 51.5% it shows vanilla, cooked fruit, honey and a nutty note with Barolo's berry edge, undiluted. A Barolo single cask 11.
