Description
The Whisky Cask is an independent bottler. A 21 year old Littlemill, this was distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2013. Once these casks are gone, Littlemill is gone with them.
Twenty-one years in ex-Bourbon lend a light oak frame to the soft, floral Littlemill make.
At 49.9%, undiluted, vanilla rises from the ex-Bourbon over the soft fruit. The mature Lowland elegance shows, floral and fine. Long oxidation coaxes fruity esters from the spirit, the ex-Bourbon's vanillin and lactones adding vanilla and coconut.
