Description
Silver Seal is the Italian label of Massimo Righi, a collectable single-cask house. This 22 year old Littlemill came off the stills in 1989 and was bottled in 2011. Few bottles, a silent distillery and a great age together make this a genuine collector's piece.
Matured in Oloroso, twenty-two years wrap the soft, floral Littlemill make in the cask's character.
Bottled at cask strength, 49.8%, the Oloroso adds dried fruit, nutmeg and polished oak. Creamy fudge, honey and a floral lift on the close. Decades in sherry oxidise the spirit toward dried fruit, the cask's melanoidins reading as fig and raisin, its tannins as walnut.
