Description
Daily Dram is part of the Dutch Nectar stable, a playful single-cask label. This 22 year old Littlemill was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2012. With the distillery demolished and no new spirit possible, every bottle is drawn from a pool that only shrinks.
A bourbon barrel and twenty-two years settle Littlemill's elegant Lowland character.
Bottled undiluted at 53.3%, the ex-Bourbon adds vanilla and a honeyed oak note. Expect citrus, fresh fruit, a glasshouse note, honey, a dry sandy note. Long oxidation coaxes fruity esters from the spirit, the ex-Bourbon's vanillin and lactones adding vanilla and coconut.
