Description
Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant, Berry Bros & Rudd has bottled whisky for over a century. Filled in 1992 and bottled in 2014, the whisky is a 21 year old Littlemill, from cask 17, in the Berrys' range. A lost distillery leaves only what was already laid down, and those reserves grow thinner each year.
Twenty-one years in the bourbon cask polish Littlemill's light, buttery Lowland spirit.
Bottled undiluted at 53.8%, the bourbon wood lends vanilla and a clean oak edge. Light, floral and buttery, the lost distillery's hallmark. The oak's vanillin and wood sugars lend vanilla and light toffee, the spirit's own esters bringing the fruit.
