Description
Anam na h-Alba is a characterful independent bottler. This 20 year old Littlemill came off the stills in 1992 and was bottled in 2013. So few bottles and no possibility of more place this among the scarcest survivors of the Lowland's lost distilleries.
Ex-Bourbon and twenty years round its creamy-fudge Lowland sweetness.
Bottled undiluted at 53.3%, vanilla and light oak come from the bourbon cask. The Lowland softness shows, floral and lightly fruity. The American oak's low tannin let Littlemill's delicacy survive the years, contributing vanilla and a creamy lactone note.
