North Star Spirits, Iain Croucher's Glasgow house, bottles single casks and small batches. Filled in 2009 and bottled in 2023, the whisky is a 14 year old Linkwood.
An Oloroso cask and fourteen years enrich the fragrant, grassy Linkwood character.
At 57.5%, undiluted, the Oloroso works in fig, date and a dry nuttiness. The fruit is bright and the texture silky, classic Linkwood.
