Description
Duncan Taylor has traded and bottled Scotch since 1938, latterly from Aberdeenshire. A 9 year old Laphroaig, from cask 56392, this was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2020., part of the Dimensions series.
Time in ex-Bourbon, nine years of it, frames the heavily peated make.
Bottled undiluted at 54%, the ex-Bourbon brings vanilla and soft oak. On the palate, a medicinal edge, citrus, vanilla, fresh fruit, a hay-like note, a malt note.
