Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024, this 12 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 18886 followed.

Time in ex-Bourbon, twelve years of it, frames the smoky, antiseptic make.

At 57.3%, undiluted, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla. Peat smoke, iodine and tar lead, in classic Laphroaig fashion.
