Adelphi bottled this 18 year old 2007 Knockdhu from Oloroso cask 13818, an outturn of 272 bottles. anCnoc is the distillery's brand, so bottlers like this use the name Knockdhu; it sits at Knock, in Banffshire.
The site returned to production in 1989. Matured in a single Oloroso cask over eighteen years, the sherry wood pulls the malt towards dried fruit.
Bottled without dilution at 56.2%. The Oloroso gives dried fruit, melanoidins reading as fig and raisin, with a walnut dryness over the fresh malt. A sherried independent single cask.
