Description
This 1975 vintage is a 30 year old anCnoc, a Limited Edition bottled in 2005 at cask strength, an earlier release of the distillery's prized 1975 stock than the later 39 year old. The distillery in the Banffshire countryside renamed its malt anCnoc to avoid confusion with Knockando. Dating from 1894, it is among the smallest distilleries in Scotland.
The granite distillery returned to work in 1989. Matured in American oak across thirty years, the wood deepened the malt.
Bottled at its natural cask strength of 50%. The oak brings vanilla and light coconut. Expect chocolate, cooked fruit and dried fruit. A rare old cask strength vintage anCnoc.
