Description
This Richly Matured 15 Years Old was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2019, matured in ex-Bourbon. Knockando, founded in 1898 in Speyside, is the heart of the J&B blend and dates its bottlings by distillation year.
Knockando, now a Diageo distillery, makes a light and fine Speyside spirit. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks across fifteen years, the wood frames the malt.
Bottled at 43%. The ex-Bourbon cask gives vanilla and coconut from vanillin and oak lactones, with a toffee edge. The recorded notes run to citrus and fresh fruit. A vintage Richly Matured Knockando.
