La Luna Mezcal Chino Silvestre brings the rugged spirit of Michoacán’s wild agaves to life. Made from 100 % wild Agave Cupreata known locally as Chino Silvestre, each piña is slow-roasted for extended hours and allowed to rest before being crushed and naturally fermented with bagazo. The artisanal production, rooted in traditional open-air fermentation and copper/pinewood distillation, produces a mezcal with fresh herbal and citrus aromatics, earth and mineral layers, and a refined but lively backbone of spice and smoke. This expression reflects the depth and complexity of wild agave and the careful hand of La Luna’s mezcaleros.
